GPSANT:
GPS Antenna/Converter Unit

The GPS antenna combines a planar antenna and a frequency converter, which translates the high-frequency phase-modulated spread spectrum signal of the GPS system to an intermediate frequencyo al cielo abierto

Features:

  • Antenna connected with up to 300m of Standard coaxial cable RG58
  • Holder for wall mounting
  • Preformed cable
  • Clamps for pole mounting
  • Ambient Temperature: -40°C ... +65°C

The antenna/converter unit can be mounted on a pole with a diameter up to 60 mm (2.36 inches) or at a wall. A 50 cm (19.7 inches) plastic tube, two holders for wall-mounting and clamps for polemounting are added to every GPS receiver. A standard coaxial cable with 50 ohms impedance should be used to connect the antenna/converter unit to the receiver.

The maximum lenght of cable between antenna and receiver depends on the attenuation factor of the used coaxial cable.
